Description:
History: George Bell, my father, was instrumental in purchasing Countryside Golf Course and Brae Loch Golf Course for the Lake County Forest Preserve when he was President. Upon his passing in 1996, a memorial fund was set up to help build a memorial area at Countryside Golf Course. Upon completiion of that project, new doations continued to come in. The Bell family decided to use this money to develp a golf program for young golfers of the future to learn the game of golf, a sport that was his passion and that he felt taught confidence, patience, respect and sportsmanship.
