U.S. Kids Golf believes that competition is a vital aspect in making the game of golf more enjoyable for junior golfers across the country. Among its initiatives, U.S. Kids Golf coordinates Local Tours for youths between the ages of five and twelve. A Local Tour typically consists of eight (8) one-day events, with the last event being a Local Tour Championship. After the conclusion of each Local Tour event, participants will earn points based on their finishing position relative to the entire field. The participants across the country who have accumulated the most points throughout the season will receive the opportunity to qualify for the U.S. Kids Golf World Championship held at Pinehurst – the past and future hosting site for the U.S. Open!
